VANCOUVER DIVISION CEREMONIAL GUARD
The Vancouver Division of the RCMP Veterans has two small Ceremonial Guard Units. These units march in parades, attend dedications, presentations, celebrations, and other public events.
The Ceremonial Guard will appear on parade wearing the following order of dress: wedge caps, red blazers with veteran’s crest, white shirt, regimental tie, white gloves, dark blue trousers, and black shoes. Those members with medals will wear them.
For special events such as the Fallen Member’s Parades or Remembrance Day Parades, members wearing blue blazers, white shirts, regimental ties, black shoes, and medals may join with the Ceremonial Guard.
The Ceremonial Guard Unit responsible for the Greater Vancouver Area is led by Dan Lemieux. Commander Bill Craig looks after the area from the Surrey to Hope.
